One of my favorite social enterprises, is Pura Vida Coffee, founded by an ex-Microsoft VP. PV sells fair trade and shade grown coffee through their network of kiosks in hundreds of univerisities and instutitions. Profits are used help at-risk children living in coffee growing regions. An added bonus is that it educates people about the plight of people in the coffee growing regions ... less than 10% of Starbucks is fair trade.

That this way of thinking is coming from the next generation of business professionals is encouraging, and the hope is that it will spread beyond business and become a driving force for change at the political level also.

It's great that more people are becoming conscious that business can be moral and not driven by just money but rather sustainability and giving back to communities! Thanks for sharing this and bringing my awareness to it! I love it and have stumbled it.
